It appears Sega is planning on localizing yet another Yakuza game for Western audiences. Yakuza: Dead Souls has been unearthed as a trademark in the European Union.

Based on the name, Dead Souls is likely the localized name for the last game in the series released in Japan so far, Yakuza: Of the Dead. Like its predecessors, it's exclusive to PS3. It breaks the mold of the previous games, adding ever-popular zombies into the popular Japanese action series.

Given the insatiable appetite for zombies American gamers have, perhaps Yakuza's entry into third person shooting will help it find a larger audience here? Here's the trailer, in Japanese:
