Zelda: Four Swords Anniversary available today
by Andrew Yoon, Sep 28, 2011 2:15pm PDTAs part of its ongoing 25th Anniversary celebration, Nintendo is releasing The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Anniversary Edition today as a free DSiWare download. The updated game will be available to download on DSi and 3DS, but for a "limited time only."
Like the original Four Swords, the game allows four players to play cooperatively. In addition, the game has been updated with a brand new single-player mode.
"Once players finish the main quest, they will unlock new stages and abilities to expand the game’s replay value," Nintendo notes. This new trailer shows off some of the stages, ripped from the original NES Zelda, the SNES A Link to the Past, and Game Boy Link's Awakening.
