Gordon Freeman returns... in Renegade Ops
by Andrew Yoon, Sep 26, 2011 9:00am PDTThe Half-Life hero is back! Just... not for a Half-Life game. Sega has announced a rather bizarre partnership with Valve that places Gordon Freeman and his buggy from Half-Life 2 into the Steam version of Renegade Ops.
"Working with Steam and the Half-Life team makes this game extra special," John Clark, director of PC Digital, said in a prepared statement. "Gordon Freeman is a deeply-established character in the gaming world and we are proud to have him included in Renegade Ops."
Gordon's special power in Renegade Ops will be to unleash Antlions. His appearance will also mark the canonical end to the Half-Life series. (Just kidding!)
Renegade Ops will be available on Steam on October 14th for $15. Here's a trailer:
