Castlevania: Harmony of Despair PS3 releases on September 27
by Jeff Mattas, Sep 23, 2011 10:30am PDTKonami has announced that Castlevania: Harmony of Despair will finally arrive in the PlayStation Store for download in four days. The game was originally released way back in July 2010 on Xbox Live for 1200 Microsoft Points ($15), but the upcoming PlayStation 3 release will include a few extras, which are available as paid DLC add-ons for the Xbox Live version.
Whereas the original Xbox Live release only included 6-player online co-op, the PSN version of Castlevania HD will bring in an extra local 4 player co-op mode as well. As reported, DLC for the Xbox version of the game will be included as part of the PSN release, including the "Beauty, Desire, Situation Dire" Map pack, along with Julius Belmont and Yoko Belnades characters.
Castlevania: Harmony of Despair whips onto the PlayStation Network on September 27. Pricing hasn't yet been confirmed, but it's probably reasonable to expect a price similar to the $15 Xbox release.
