PS3 firmware 3.72 coming soon
by Andrew Yoon, Sep 19, 2011 5:45pm PDTIt's that time of the year again, folks. A new PS3 firmware update will be released "soon." As the incremental numerical upgrade suggests, system software 3.72 isn't exactly loaded with features. According to Sony's Eric Lempel, the update will provide improvements "system stability during use of PS3 format software and network services."
It's been little over a month since the introduction of firmware update 3.70, which added the "Automatic Update" feature for PlayStation Plus members. If you've enabled this setting, your firmware update should be downloaded (albeit not installed) once the firmware update goes live.
