Take On Helicopters landing October 27
by Alice O'Connor, Sep 15, 2011 4:45pm PDTArma developer Bohemia Interactive's civilian chopper sim Take On Helicopters will launch for PC on October 27, the Czech dev announced today, preceded by a pre-order beta with a limit version of the game.
Pre-ordering Take On Helicopters from Bohemia's unspecified "official Digital Download partners" will net you a key for the pre-order beta which begins on October 4. It'll offer a 30x30km slice of virtual Seattle to explore in light and medium civil choppers. On the modes front, you'll get free flight, training, time trials, multiplayer, and single missions. On top of that, there's the editor too.
If you want to give Take On Helicopters a go before you pre-order to get to give it a go, and own Arma 2: Operation Arrowhead, you can download a limited community preview build for free.
