If you were up late last night you probably heard that Capcom is bringing Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 to the PlayStation Vita when it launches. Though the handheld is set for a December 17 launch in Japan, no North American or European release information has been revealed for the system. Despite a large segment of the gaming market unaware of when they will get the game in hand, Capcom has released the first screens for the portable version of the 'ultimate' title. Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 is set to arrive for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on November 15.

I like the idea of a portable fighter but I switched to an arcade stick awhile ago making using a pad a lot less viable for me.

The online for SSF4 on 3DS was pretty meh and I would assume it would be the same for this.

I agree about sticks, but I'll note that the PSP port of Street Fighter Alpha 3 had some options that let you adjust the read time for pad inputs, and it helped a LOT. If they carry over that same option, it should be viable to play.

I have SF4 on my 3DS and absolutely love it. It's not the same without a stick but allows me to practice and get into the groove of what a character can do while on the road. I'd say fighters are the most perfect genre for handheld gaming play one or two matches in 5 minute break pause and come back whenever really bite sized gaming at it's best.
