343 Industries has announced that Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary is getting yet another classic map added to its multiplayer offering. Headlong, a favorite from Halo 2, has been remade and dubbed "Breakneck." The map takes place in Section 21, a city destroyed by the Covenant assault. It's a large-scale map for 8-16 players, notable for its long-range weapons like rockets and sniper rifles. The company also announced that the anticipated title update for Halo: Reach will start open beta testing on October 4 with new beta playlists. The full update will hit on November 15. It includes tweaks to the pistol, and abilities like the Armor Lock.

One of the bigger Halo 2 maps, great for objective if you have an organized team. Otherwise... Could get very sloppy.

I still remember trying to find the Gold Warthog on this map... you know, the one that didn't exist but everyone claimed they found?

Don't feel bad guys - Halo 2 was my first game that I really played online, and I was told by some guy in one of my first matches that sometimes a giant crocodile would rear its head out of the water, in the ocean off the side of the map. I sat and stared at the water until I was pushed off to hysterical laughter.
