Kojima confirms Zone of the Enders and Metal Gear Collections for Vita

Legendary game director Hideo Kojima has revealed that the HD collections for both Metal Gear Solid and Zone of the Enders are coming to the PlayStation Vita, along with the already announced versions for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

Legendary game director Hideo Kojima has revealed that the HD collections for both Metal Gear Solid and Zone of the Enders are coming to the PlayStation Vita, along with the already announced versions for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

Both HD collections are expected for release sometime in 2012.

      Speaking of which I assume these games will be using Transfarring. Wondering if the 360 uses this too, doubt it though.

      I'm still confused as to whether these collections are going to be bundled with the PS3 skus, or whether they're going to be sold separately. I can't imagine buying a game twice for the privilege of playing on a different screen size.

        Imagine it. Just like the 360 is another system, so is the Playstation 4 and requires a different package.

          The Playstation 4 ....? Vita is supposed to be "transfaring" with the PS3, ie syncing like an ipod does with your pc. PSone games already emulate across portable and home console. I don't see why consumers should be expected to buy the same product twice.

      They really need to show off some gameplay footage of ZoE. The mech designs are awesome and I can't wait to see what they look like in the remakes.
