3DS Slide Pad official details released
by Steve Watts, Sep 13, 2011 7:45am PDTThough it was conspicuously absent from Nintendo's press briefing last night, the company has released official details on its second slide pad dongle. The release includes a Japanese release date and price, and plans for compatible games.
Andriasang reports the attachment will hit Japan on December 10, alongside Monster Hunter 3G. It will be 1,500 yen (roughly $20 US), and requires one AAA battery included with the device.
It will be compatible with more than just Monster Hunter 3G. The current slate of compatible titles also includes Resident Evil Revelations, Metal Gear Solid Snake Eater 3D, Ace Combat 3D Cross Rumble, Dynasty Warriors VS, and Kingdom Hearts 3D. Compatible titles will sport an icon on the box.
Though western pricing and dates haven't been announced, it seems increasingly likely that we'll see the add-on come to our shores eventually. If it were strictly reserved for Monster Hunter, it might stay in Japan -- but with franchises like Resident Evil and Kingdom Hearts compatible as well, it's almost certainly due here too.

I'm so fed up with games which once had awesome controls, being inundated with the waggle bullshit.
