Ace Combat: Assault Horizon demo coming tomorrow
by Andrew Yoon, Sep 12, 2011 4:00pm PDTI called Ace Combat: Assault Horizon "absolutely thrilling" at E3--but I had trouble coming to grips with some of its controls. Tomorrow, you'll be able to take a test drive for yourself with a downloadable demo on PlayStation Network and Xbox Live.
The demo will be available on PS3 and Xbox 360 on September 13 and includes two missions from the single player campaign.
The first mission will be familiar to Ace Combat vets. It will serve as the tutorial level in the full game, and it will have you commandeering a jet fighter in a dogfight over Miami. The second mission--one I had trouble with--will have you taking control of a helicopter, as you must provide support in a rescue operation.
While the demo will be available tomorrow, the game will be available on October 14th.
