Deus Ex: Human Revolution on Mac this winter
by Alice O'Connor, Sep 12, 2011 8:30am PDTA Mac port of Eidos Montreal's splendid cyberpunk romp Deus Ex: Human Revolution will be released this winter, Mac publisher Feral Interactive announced today. Feral's been behind the Apple-y editions of games including BioShock and Borderlands.
"We are delighted to partner with Feral, a leading expert in development for the Mac platform, to bring the acclaimed Deus Ex: Human Revolution to Mac players," Eidos Montreal GM Stephane D'Astous said in the announcement.
The Mac price, system requirements and exact release date are to be announced "later this year." There's no mention of which studio Feral will be tapping to handle the port, though.
Deus Ex: Human Revolution was released for PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in August, with the PC edition handled by Nixxes Software. Despite being released on the 23rd, it topped retail sales for the month. A new downloadable content mission, The Missing Link is slated to arrive in October.
