Deus Ex: Human Revolution ships 2M units
by Steve Watts, Sep 09, 2011 3:00pm PDTIf topping the August NPD charts wasn't enough indication, Square Enix has a hit on its hands with Deus Ex: Human Revolution. The company announced today that it's shipped two million units since launch, across North America, Europe and PAL territories.
Of course, that figure is for shipped units, not sold. Still, managed to take the top spot in last month's NPD figures, despite being released late in the month. Now that the franchise has been revived with a hit, Square Enix could capitalize on it with further games in the series.
If you've already plumped the depths of Deus Ex, you can look forward to some more this October with the Missing Link downloadable content. It features a shirtless Jensen trapped on a ship bound for an unknown destination, filling in the three-day gap in the story.
