Four-player online co-op will be supported by the jazzed-up version of Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker in the Metal Gear Solid HD Collection for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, series creator Hideo Kojima has revealed. It'll run at 60fps over Xbox Live or the PlayStation Network, Kojima explained in a pair of messages on Twitter. The original PSP edition of Peace Walker only supported two-player co-op. Kojima also revealed, "During load, characters' dialogues pop up at random," as you can catch a glimpse of in the photo below. Exactly what is included in the MGS HD Collection varies by region, but basically you're getting some form of MGS2 and MGS3, along with Peace Walker. It's slated to launch in November.

I'm so glad PSP classics are getting the console-release treatment. I don't play many games on the go and do most of my gaming at home, so re-releases like the God of War portable games and MGS: Peace Walker ensures that I'll get the chance to play them eventually.

It's GREAT in an MGS way. It's right up there with MGS3 in terms of awesome. Having it and 3 in the same updated package is just orgasm worthy.

I haven't finished it and so far its very long, but the game sure feels great as a MGS game.

Oh I see it now. You're in this extremely difficult mission require precision stealth tactics then one guy goes away, so the rest of you decide to discuss your next moves. About 5 minutes later you hear the 4th player come back and just say "Head's up, Let's do this. LEEEROOOOOOY......."

Sounds like most co-op games for me at least 8)
