If you're tired of seeing all this coverage for Modern Warfare 3, here's something completely different. EA has released a new trailer for Battlefield 3, this time showing off the "Physical Warfare" DLC--available for free as pre-order bonus at select retailers. Included in the pack is the DAO-12 semi-automatic shotgun, Type 88 Light Machine Gun, flechette ammo for the DAO-12, and a flash suppressor for the SKS sniper rifle.

The video makes a convincing argument for the Physical Warfare pack. And while many retailers are offering it as a bonus, don't feel like you're missing out. "Physical Warfare Pack is a time-based exclusive. If you do not pre-order Battlefield 3 at a retailer carrying the Physical Warfare Pack, don’t worry. We will unlock the contents of the Physical Warfare Pack for free to all Battlefield 3 players later this year," EA has already confirmed.

Those weapon models look incredibly small when you are looking at them from an angle other than first person.

Thats because those types of weapons are actually that size/smaller than most games make them out to be :P

I am so glad that BF3 will have fully-automatic sniper rifles. Snipers add so much to the gameplay.

They're semi-auto and they're in most installments of the series.

          The SKS isn't even a sniper rifle...its like a battle-rifle lite

You're right, it plays out more like a modded M1 rifle.

Being able to take the scope off the US default sniper rifle is great - while you can chose to fire single shot with the other rifles, they aren't strong enough to kill in 1 or 2 hits.

What is Alan Kertz hardon with the QJY88? Its not even that notable of a firearm, technically or historically.
