Microsoft continues to show its love for the best-selling Call of Duty franchise, revealing a new 'Limited Edition' console bundle for the latest game in the series. The Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 bundle includes a "battle-worn" style console (basically it's silver with faux damage), a 320GB hard drive, a regular edition of Modern Warfare 3, and a pair of visually comparable Xbox 360 wireless controllers. Like previous slim-line-branded consoles, the Modern Warfare 3 console has custom sounds attached to the console's power and eject buttons. In a video featuring Larry "Major Nelson" Hryb, the power button was shown to play the, now famous, night-vision goggles sound from the Modern Warfare series. The 320GB bundle is priced at $399.

MW3 Headset

Microsoft is also releasing a similarly designed Bluetooth headset with Modern Warfare 3 branding, which will also include a dock for the device. The package even includes an "Xbox Live token for an exclusive download." The headset is priced at $69.99, and is compatible with all Bluetooth devices. (So yes, you can use this on your PS3 as well.) Additional controllers ($59.99 each) will be sold separately. Each package will also contain an "Xbox Live token for an exclusive download."

MW3 Controller

All Modern Warfare 3-based hardware is expected to launch alongside the game on November 8, 2011.

They need to think of doing these kinds of 'bundles' when they launch the next gen systems.

Who is buying these bundles? Existing console owners that want MW3 on their box, or new customers?
