Today, hopefully around the afternoon or early evening, we'll be launching the Shack MessageCenter, a message service for the registered users (based on comment/threading user accounts). Anonymous users will be able to send messages too, but obviously can't receive replies ;) Right now the system is based on a login with cookies, and I understand that some people don't like to use cookies so I'll be sure and make a version that works different to accomodate those users. The beta version, as I might as well call it, that will be going live, currently does not support sending messages to multiple users yet, but that feature should be in by the end of the week hopefully. We'll also have the ability to create users lists, and of course, the ignore function ;) I'm working on a few last things right now, already some suggestions that I saw that I will implement before it goes active. I'll make another post later which lists the possible bugs, and the current feautres.
