The Gunstringer demo moseys on out
by Alice O'Connor, Aug 31, 2011 6:00am PDTThe Gunstringer swaggers onto Xbox 360, spurs clinking, in a demo out now for Twisted Pixel's puppety Kinect-exclusive arcade shooter. If you're looking for a Kinect game with fewer hoedowns and more showdowns, give it a bash.
Made by the folks behind 'Splosion Man and The Maw, The Gunstringer's a wild west arcade shooter starring the eponymous marionette and such dastardly villains as The Inflatable Wavy Tube Man. Naturally, Kinect will have you shooting with finger-guns.
The 700MB demo is available now for download from the Xbox Live Marketplace but, as ever, it's initially exclusive to Xbox Live Gold subscribers.
The Gunstringer will ride into town on September 13 in a $40 double-pack with a download code for $10 XBLA title Fruit Ninja Kinect, which was released on August 10.
Battlefield 4 launching October 29; confirmed for Xbox One and PS4
