The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword is one of the last truly big games coming to the Wii. It's also one of the few games on the console that makes Wii MotionPlus use mandatory. If you don't have an enhanced controller yet, or if you simply want to get something shiny and limited edition, Nintendo has something for you. A special bundle will launch simultaneously with the game on November 20th, one that includes a gold Wii Remote Plus controller.

First-run copies of both the regular and special editions of Skyward Sword will also include a music CD featuring select arragements from the Legend of Zelda 25th Anniversary Symphony Concert.

The gold controller will be exclusive to the bundle (meaning you won't be able to buy it separately), and will be available for $69.99. A standard Wii Remote Plus retails for $39.99, making the $20 mark-up for the bundle quite a deal.

Since it's only $20 more than the standard game, and since I don't own a Motion Plus peripheral yet, I'll probably pick this up.

This is my thinking. The controller also admittedly looks pretty cool.

Won't the white nunchuck look kind of silly with this?

I've ALWAYS hated the 'Zelda-Gold' on peripherals...

But... for a difference of $20, it's totally worth it. (Give it to your girlfriend or something ;P)

      I would prefer a gold cartridge...but I don't know how they'd make that work.
