Bungie Aerospace, the Halo creator's mobile game publishing arm, has revealed its first game will launch next week. Appropriately, the new venture sets sail with Crimson: Steam Pirates from developer HareBrained Schemes.

The iPad-exclusive title is scheduled to arrive on September 1.

According to Bungie, Crimson: Steam Pirates is a turn-based strategy game that focuses on uncovering a mystery. Priced at the low, low price of $0.00, the game features eight "voyages that begin the tale of Thomas Blood's adventures in the Caribbean," a pair of "Pass-and-Play" multiplayer scenarios, Bungie.net stats, leaderboards, social media integration, and more.

Chapter 2 of the game, entitled "Tales of Captain Blood," will be available for $1.99 and feature eight new missions. For more, check out the official HareBrained Schemes website.
