Square Enix bringing downloadable game from Portal project lead to PAX

Square Enix and Airtight Games will reveal its "top-secret" downloadable title during a panel at PAX, featuring members of the development team, including Portal project lead Kim Swift.

Square Enix has announced it will roll into PAX Prime 2011 with a plethora of content for attendees to feast on. Playable demos of Dead Island, Final Fantasy XIII-2, Heroes of Ruin, Wakfu, and (the will be in stores by then) Deus Ex: Human Revolution will all be ready for gamers when the doors open in Seattle on August 26. Also on tap is the debut of a new downloadable title Airtight Games, which will be revealed during a panel featuring developers on the project, including Portal project lead Kim Swift. The "top-secret joint project" between Square Enix and Airtight Games will be revealed during a panel held on Saturday, August 27 at 7pm in the Pegasus Room. Platforms for the title were not revealed in the press release issued by Square Enix.

Kim Swift was the project lead on the original Portal

Airtight was established in 2004 by former members of FASA Studios and Microsoft, and have previously released the Capcom published title Dark Void on the PC, Xbox 360, and PS3. Kim Swift's resume includes work on the original Portal, Left 4 Dead and its sequel, Left 4 Dead 2, as well as creative director on Airtight's upcoming project.
