Blizzard still 'serious' about Diablo 3 for consoles
by Jeff Mattas, Aug 17, 2011 4:30pm PDTBack in November of 2010, Blizzard began posting job listings for a "Diablo-related project for consoles," and speculated about the possibility of developing a console version of Diablo 3 in its community forums. Today, at a Gamescom press conference, Blizzard all but confirmed that such a version of the game is in the works.
Diablo 3 lead designer Josh Mosqueira asserted that Blizzard "is very, very serious about bringing the Diablo 3 experience to the console," adding that the developer is currently recruiting a team to handle the initiative.
"We're looking for programmers, designers, artists who think their dream job would be to bring Diablo to the console. Trust me, it is a dream job," Mosqueria said, according to a report by Eurogamer. "All I can say is it's going to be awesome. Stay tuned."
Based on that statement, it sounds like console gamers can start to get cautiously excited. However, a console version does raise questions about how things like the PC version's real money auction house would work in that environment, if at all.

The PC version of Diablo 3 still doesn't have a firm release date yet, though beta is still expected sometime in Q3 2011. (That's, like, now!)

Because probably both versions will be radically diferent in some points.
Not doing so will be kicking pc gamers in the nuts, because if they did difficulty of the game will be lowered to make the console player able to handle it with a gamepad.
