TrackMania2 Canyon release date & beta details
by Alice O'Connor, Aug 12, 2011 7:10am PDTThe next instalment of Nadeo's delightful create-and-race series TrackMania will launch for PC on September 14, publisher Ubisoft has announced. The run-up to TrackMania2 Canyon's launch will be celebrated with a multiplayer beta.
Pre-orders will launch on August 17, alongside a multiplayer beta with guaranteed places for everyone who slaps their $24.99 down early.
TrackMania2 Canyon will only include the 'canyon' setting seen in previous games, with other tilesets arriving in later releases. It's the first block of Nadeo's ManiaPlanet, an online world built around user-created content. Down the line, ManiaPlanet will expand to include the FPS ShooterMania and RPG QuestMania.
