any of you l33t d00ds know how to change the CD key in SoF after you have given it when you first installed it? cuz when i try and create a won account it says my CD Key is invalid. so i want to change it to all caps. see if that helps. but i have no idea how to change it. ive tried reinstalling, looking in configs. nothing. i dont see it anywhere. help a brother out?

Anyone ever buy a system from Hard Drives Northwest? I was thinking about them; a friend of mine has bought two systems from them, and was very pleased. And they're dirt cheap, much cheaper than Dell is, and they are configurable with Athlons, no less. 30 bucks to put the system together, and a three-year warranty on the parts. I'm thinking about getting my next system from them, but I was just curious if anyone here has gotten anything from them...

Diablo2 has more depth with 5 classes than games with 10+ classes. It kicks the SHIT out of everquest in terms of skill variety per class, items available, and monster types. Only thing it lacks is 3243423 spells, but is 23432 spells really a GOOD thing? (example of items: D2 has what's called 'item sets'; a group of items, 3 to 6, that you collect that alone are only fairly useful, if you're lucky, but once the set is collected and worn, the modifiers get a significant bonus. Something like 20+ different item sets, each changing the look of your character according to that set. ((20 item sets, 5 characters, 80 different looks from item sets)) So.. Go play one of those 4 dark elfs in EQ)

To attack a monster, if you choose the melee route you don't spam click them. You click them once and hold it down, and you'll attack at your fastest rate possible until they're dead.

Spells? Hotkeys available to bind a skill (yes, no more books that you can find so your level 49 warrior can also cast a level 18 firebolt) to either left or right click, then you click ONCE anywhere on the screen to shoot it. Hold down shift and you can fire without selecting a target.

Allright. Lets talk about Half Life's single player game.

The game starts off good. The train ride was kinda boring, but I'll let that slide. Running around the complex was kinda cool. A little different then being dropped right into the action like in previous games.

I'll have to say the entire first half of the game is good up until that part where you ride around in that maze using those little trains. That part was annoying. And I did'nt care for that entire coolant thing at the end where I had to turn on all those pumps.

All those Xen levels were totally ridiculous. Too hard. I hated those maps.

All the parts where you were running around in the complex and all the outdoors parts were really cool. There should have been more outdoor areas.

I'd like to play a custom version of the single player game. It would be shorter and more enjoyable.

I would cut out the long train ride at the begining or make it a lot shorter.

I would remove that part where you have to turn on the fuel, oxygen and one other thing to fry that damn tenticle. That tunnel underneath it was cool though.

I would take out that entire maze part with the trains.

I would take out that entire pumping station thing at the end.

I would take out that DAMN part with that little tower with 20 warps in it that warp you around and make you keep going in circles because it's so frustrating.

I would take out all the Xen levels.

Then I would have a nice little game that I could play through in one afternoon.

There were some really, really cool parts in Half Life. I wish there were more of them.

I remember a few battles with the marines and all those outdoor areas. Remember that huge cliff?

I played the OEM version of Half Life before it came out. That little piece of the game was GREAT. That version was totally fun. That large outdoors battle at the end was just great. I wish the entire game would have been made up of the elements found in the OEM version.

(For those of you who did'nt play the OEM version, it was like the first 1/4'th of the game. From the train ride all the way to that part where you right that elevator up and you have that large battle with the marines and they have that large helecopter/airplane thing flying around and they are hitting the building with artillery or mortars.)

That giant 2 legged thing with a huge swinging nut was just dumb. I hated fighting that squeling noisy thing.

And that big baby floating around at the end?? I hated that.

The game should have had a much better ending.

I can remember endings on old Super NES and Genesis games that were much better.

Did anyone here ever see the ending to Super Castlevania on the SNES?

It might not be so cool today, but I remember it being neat back then. Way back when ever that was. What, about 10 years ago?

Did you all know that I liked the Tribes demo more then the full version? Well it's true.

If you've never played Tribes or you don't own the full version, and you want to play it, download the demo.

It has like 4 maps and you can play it online. There are about 20 - 30 servers and they are all full 24 hours a day.

I read this somewhere maybe here, but i heard the next diablo/blizzard was suppose to be like an everquest type deal, and there is already an expansion that was annouced for diablo 2 that will include act 5 and 2 more character types they where hoping it the expansion will drop in stores dec/ but since it was just annouced it might be longer...
