Gears of War is a franchise known to be paired with thoughtful, poignant music when its marketing campaign has been thrust into the wild. The latest trailer for Gears of War 3 is going in a slightly different, more "punch those in your vicinity" direction.

A new trailer for Gears of War 3--first shown off at Comic Con 2011--is now available, featuring a new look at the game's upgraded Horde Mode. The video's musical accompaniment, entitled "Five Against All," comes courtesy of rap legend, gaming enthusiast, and Gears of War 3 cast member Ice-T and his thrash metal band Body Count. It's no Tears for Fears cover, but it certainly helps set the stage for the frantic action we expect to encounter when Gears of War 3 launches on September 20, exclusively for the Xbox 360.
