Mafia creator Dan Vávra has founded a new development studio with Martin Klíma, founder of UFO series developer Altar Games, supported by folks with experience on Operation Flashpoint and Mafia. Warhorse Studios, as it's called, is working on a mysterious unannounced RPG.

"There is a common thread running through our previous games: open worlds, strong storyline and, last but not least, realistic design. We can proudly say that the games Mafia and Operation Flashpoint were the vanguard of this approach and millions of players worldwide clearly share our view."

"Even if our new project is different in many respects, it is a game that is not going to disappoint fans of open realistic worlds and quality stories. We are positive we are not making this game for ourselves only but for you as well," Warhorse explains on its website.

Along with Vávra and Klíma, Warhorse has the talents of Mafia series animator Zbyněk Trávnický and Viktor Bocan, a writer and designer who worked on Bohemia Interactive's original Operation Flashpoint Arma.

Warhorse is based in Prague. If you fancy working in the Czech Republic's capital and have skills sufficient to pay the bills, Warhorse is hiring for positions including level designer and net admin.
