From Dust PC delayed to August
by Andrew Yoon, Jul 25, 2011 5:45pm PDTYou will literally play God in From Dust, Eric Chahi's upcoming downloadable game. So, as an all-encompassing omnipotent being, something as trivial as "time" shouldn't bother you. Good, because Ubisoft has announced a last-minute delay for the PC version of the game. Originally scheduled for release two days from now (July 27th), Ubisoft has delayed the game, without any real explanation.
The new release date is August 17th, three weeks after its release on Xbox Live Arcade. Shacknews postulates that its inclusion in Microsoft's Summer of Arcade program warrants some kind of timed exclusivity. It seems Ubisoft realized this obligation just two days before its release. The Xbox 360 version is still coming out this Wednesday for 1200 Microsoft Points ($14.99).
Ubisoft has become notorious in the PC gaming community for its frequent delays. Most recently, Call of Juarez was delayed on the PC.
Kinect for Xbox One coming to PC
Xbox One does not provide any built-in DVR capabilities
Xbox One increases friends lists to 1,000
Xbox One achievements dynamic, not limited to single games
