Ico and Shadow of the Colossus Collection bundled with bonuses

Ico and Shadow of the Colossus Collection might come with HD-upgraded versions of two classic PS2 titles, but that's not all it will come with, Sony revealed today.

It might seem like plenty to get HD upgrades for classic PlayStation 2 titles like Ico and Shadow of the Colossus, but SCEA isn't keen on just throwing them out the door without a few extra bells and whistles.

Today, the PlayStation Blog revealed that the upcoming Ico and Shadow of the Colossus Collection will include a number of extra pieces of "bonus" content, including some that links to developer Team Ico's next game: The Last Guardian.

According to the blog, the Collection will also include a one-use voucher code for "two XMB Dynamic Themes," one for each of the included HD-updated titles.

The package will also include "a ton of exclusive video content" for the two games, Ico and Shadow of the Colossus, as well as the upcoming PS3-exclusive, The Last Guardian.

The Ico and Shadow of the Colossus Collection features "full 1080p HD and stereoscopic 3D support, 7.1 surround sound, and full PSN Trophy support." It launches as a bundle package this September on the PS3 for $40.

Without spoilering, what are these games and why would i want to play them?

Without spoilering. Because they both are awesome.

Non gameplay spoilering: Because they combine minimal design and simple gameplay for a epic game
Mild Gameplay Spoilering: Because we all secretly wish to drag a tall pale girl through a castle while yelling "Yoo!" and "Ump-ah", or climb a Giant beast to slay it.
