Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 adds 12 new fighters
by Andrew Yoon, Jul 20, 2011 9:45am PDTCapcom, masters of re-releasing games, have announced a new version of Marvel vs. Capcom just in time for San Diego Comic-Con. Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 is in development for PS3 and Xbox 360 and will be available this November for $39.99--the same price it placed on its last remixed fighter, Super Street Fighter IV.
New to Ultimate MvC3 will be twelve new characters, including Strider, Ghost 'n Goblins villain Firebrand, Ghost Rider, and Hawkeye. "More characters will be revealed in the coming months," Capcom promises. In addition to the new characters, there will be eight new stages and new features "to improve the game's balance and online functionality," such as the new Spectator Mode.
