Sega quietly delayed two of its 3DS titles today, with new release dates for Shinobi and CRUSH3D. The ninja action title Shinobi is now due on November 15, 2011, and the puzzle game CRUSH3D will hit on February 21, 2012. Both games were previously due in September.
This comes as the latest in a series of signs that the 3DS software library is getting off to a rocky start. Cave Story 3D was delayed to August, Assassin's Creed: Lost Legacy morphed into Revelations. Last night, Capcom canned its plans for Mega Man Legends 3.
The DS launch line-up was nothing to write home about, so we may see Nintendo turn it around. But stiff competition against devices like the iPhone and upcoming Vita are a looming threat to the company's handheld dominance.
