The nintendo bit pissed me off at first, but it did get me thinking, how many 'gamers' actually played the nintendo 'stable' of titles this gen? How old are you?
I loved kirby, mario galaxy 1-2 (some of the best 'gameplay' ever imo), donkey kong, metroid prime 3, punchout, twilight princess and w/e else on wii.
But I guess I also enjoy watching pixar movies in theaters even though I'm neither parent or kid (age 21 in like 2 weeks).
I enjoy the shooter and the good western and eastern rpgs and action titles, but I always felt nintendo titles fit the term 'video games' the best in my dictionary (ie: Call of duty is a shooter, mario is a video game, how my brain sorts things lol).
And I always thought those 'viceral' gore kills in games are more childish than any nintendo game.
And it might just be the engineering college I go to, but smash is the defacto party game. A lot more fun to play on 1 screen and to watch vs other splitscreen stuff.
So yeah, how old are ya, and have you played and enjoyed the nintendo's best of this gen?
