First look at Battlefield 3 'Battlelog' via pulled screenshots

Screenshots from the German Battlefield site (and quickly pulled from said site) give us a first look at the Battlelog.

We seem to have gotten an early look at Battlefield 3's Battlelog, thanks to screenshots that spent a short time on the German Battlefield site (via Battlefieldo). The screens show off the community feed, chat, and profile features, but they were quickly pulled from the site for unspecified reasons. This seems to be taking some cues from Autolog, the racing community features introduced in Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit and now being applied to EA's other racing franchises. Social shooting features are evidently the hip trend this year, with rival Activision's own chief shooter franchise Call of Duty also launching social features, through the subscription-based Elite service.

        I remember the stats tracking for Unreal Tournament, it had all sorts of goofy stuff in there. This is one place where information overload is awesome.

        I'm all about the mid air shock paddle kills.

      looks really nice and clean.. informative etc.. cant wait to play with game! looks like a really good feature and HOPEFULLY its done right :)
