Limbo on PS3 July 19th, Steam August 2nd
by Andrew Yoon, Jul 08, 2011 11:30am PDTThat didn't take long. Just one week after the ports were announced, Playdead has announced release dates for the upcoming PS3 and PC versions of Limbo. The PSN version will arrive just in time for the game's first birthday. Playdead's critically-acclaimed platformer will be available on the PlayStation Network in the US on July 19th. A European release will follow on July 20th. (A Japanese release is TBA.)
PC gamers will have to wait just a little bit longer, with a worldwide launch on Steam on August 2nd. Dino Patti, CEO of Playdead, told me that these upcoming ports will feature a "little extra secret." What could it be?
Finally, in addition to the upcoming ports, the Limbo soundtrack will be available for download on iTunes, beginning July 11th.
