Burnout Crash races to PS3, Xbox 360, and Kinect
by Andrew Yoon, Jul 07, 2011 2:00pm PDTEA has announced a new Burnout game, exclusively for Xbox Live Arcade and PlayStation Network. Burnout Crash is Criterion's newest addition to the franchise, and--you guessed it--it's all about the fan-favorite crash mode. The downloadable title will feature three game modes, six locations and 18 crash junctions.
Like Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit, the game will integrate Autolog, allowing friends to compare high scores and compete through new Autolog Challenges.
Exclusive to the Xbox 360 version is an extra mode designed for Kinect. Two teams can use "gestural controls to crash and burn in a party battle."
"Burnout Crash is a crazy mix of pinball and game shows," said Richard Franke, Creative Director, in a press release. "We've evolved the core gameplay which everyone loved about Crash Mode, and expanded the whole experience using music, style and Autolog to create what we feel is the most mindless fun you can have on any gaming platform."
Burnout Crash will be available this Fall.
