still don't get their rationale behind porting original GB game as opposed to GB and GBA games to the 3DS. There are maybe half a dozen GB games that I would think would be worth replaying, but that's about it. I'd love a chance to play the original Gargoyle's Quest though

That original Gargoyle's Quest game is fantastic.

Yup. i just realized when I typed Gargoyle that that was supposed to be originally 'demon' but they censored it for american audiences, right? It makes sense..but to a 12 yr old kid, I didn't know any better.

Huh, didn't know that! This might be the first time I've liked the censored version of something better- I think that "Gargoyle" gave the game some character that "Demon" wouldn't have. Oh wait, this is the other time I liked the censored version of something better: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B-Wd-Q3F8KM

Never played that one. Might keep an eye out for it at my local used games shops now.

Man that series of games rocked. I'd like to see them bring that into a 3d engine.

you and me both. I loved the different demon types and weapons, not to mention all the hidden stuff to find. in the GB one, i remember feeling like a right badass once my gargoyle got to full power and could hover indefinitely.

Yeah they did progression nicely. You always started fairly weak, but by the end of the game you were a proverbial bad ass.

Final Fantasy Legends 1 would be fun I think, been a looooooong time though so I don't remember a whole lot other than the end boss is basically god.
