"Sorry to disappoint you boys, it's just little old me." - Catwoman

There's no need to apologize, Selina. Publisher WB Interactive Entertainment has released ten minutes of gameplay footage from the upcoming Batman: Arkham City, highlighting Catwoman's FreeFlow combat skills. Finally, you'll get a chance to see what Garnett has been raving about since E3.

But don't think the video is focused squarely on the new playable character. You'll also see Batman gliding through the city and a confrontation with one of the franchise's most iconic villains: Two-Face.

Batman: Arkham City is scheduled to arrive on October 18 for the PC, Xbox 360, and PS3. Pre-orders from Best Buy will include early access to Robin as a playable character.

Damn I wish all comic book video games were like this. First one was so good and this one looks just as promising. NICE

Looks awesome. Batman's voice sounds different, I wonder if they changed voice actors.

No it's the same guy, as Joker is still Mark Hamill, but Harley Quinn has changed it seems.

Odd, I could have swore Mark Hamill said he wasn't going to do any more Joker voice-overs after Batman:AA

He did but changed his mind after some convincing. This time is supposed to the the final last time, though.

He completely said that, then he changed it to no more after Arkham City. They probably offered him a batload of money.

Possibly, but the official line from him is that they showed him where they were going with both characters from a narrative standpoint, and he couldn't pass it up. Since the main writer, is Paul Dini, the same person responsible for the Animated Series where Mark Hamill became famous for the Joker, I think he wants to go out with a bang that was lacking in the series.

I think Batman was his favourite comic as a kid and the Joker his favourite villain and he can't help but LIVE THE DREAM

It's hard to believe that they could make a game even better than the first one, but AC looks like so damn good.

        Yeah.

This reminds me to finish the first game once I have some more free time to play... On that platform where I usually play games, heh.

There's a ton of awesome shit in this video. Holy shit.

      1) Batman breaks a wall with his face while gliding.
      2) You can counter thrown objects.
      3) The GET OVER HERE MOVE looks really painful
      4) Playing as Catwoman looks much better than I expected. She's like a faster, more agile Batman.
      5) TWO GUNS, BITCH

Looks all kinds of awesome. The combo system looks a little more forgiving than the original. Hard to tell w/o manning the controls though.

Can we not go one game without hearing Steve Blum?

Yes he was amazing as Spike and all, but I am getting really tired of hearing him all over the place with just a gruffed up version of the same vocal range...

Voiceactor for Batman doesn't sound deep or gritty enough. Not every voiceover in a videogame need be; Batman does, though.

That is surprising as the voice actor of Batman is still Kevin Conroy, the only true voice of Batman and Bruce Wayne.
