Dead Rising 2: Off the Record surfaces in October
by Alice O'Connor, Jun 30, 2011 8:15am PDTPhotojournalist and expert zombie-slayer Frank West will be back in Dead Rising 2: Off the Record on October 11 for PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, publisher Capcom has announced. The European release will follow on October 14.
Off the Record retells the Fortune City outbreak of Dead Rising 2 from the perspective of the series' original star. Frank was replaced in the sequel by motocross champ Chuck Greene, though the two later joined forces in downloadable standalone epilogue Dead Rising 2: Case West.
Off the Record promises new missions, areas, enemies, weapons, and items, along with performance improvements. Frank will, of course, also be snapping photographs for bonus experience. Check out the E3 trailer to see some of these wonders and horrors in action:
