Cave Story 3D delayed into November
by Alice O'Connor, Jun 28, 2011 7:00am PDTCave Story 3D, the Nintendo 3DS remake of indie classic Cave Story, has received another delay. Previously due on August 8, following a month's delay, it's now expected on November 8.
"We are currently undergoing improvements to enhance gameplay," said producer Jack Niida in the delay announcement. "Changes are in the small details, but in order to satisfy both the fans and the new players we need to make sure the game is done right."
Cave Story 3D is being published by NIS America and developed by Nicalis, the dev behind Cave Story's WiiWare and DSiWare ports. The original was created by Japanese indie Daisuke Amaya and released for free on PC in 2004.
