Sony already has not one, but two lines of value-package games for the PlayStation Portable. Now as the PlayStation Vita prepares to launch, the company is rolling out one more way to get PSP games on the cheap. Sony announced PSP Dual Packs today, which (obviously enough) bundle together two PSP games from popular franchises for $14.99.

The first three Dual Packs will hit both brick-and-mortar retail stores and the PlayStation Store this week. If you grab the PSN versions, they'll be backwards compatible with the Vita, which lacks a physical UMD drive. The pairs include Secret Agent Clank with Daxter; Syphon Filter: Logan's Shadow with Killzone: Liberation; and Syphon Filter: Dark Mirror with SOCOM: Us Navy SEALs: Fireteam Bravo.

Sneaky little buggers, putting the Syphon Filter games in two different packs. A Killzone/SOCOM pack for $15 would definitely be worth it.

I think they did that because of the ratings. One is rated T and one is rated M, and as you can see from the images Sony created an E10+ pack, T pack, and M pack.
