Futuremark's Hungribles slingshots to iOS
by Jeff Mattas, Jun 24, 2011 4:15pm PDTFuturemark Games Studio has announced Hungribles for iOS devices, a physics-based puzzle game that looks so sugary-sweet, it should probably come with free shot of insulin.
The Hungribles--Chops, Dibs, Bonker, Izzy, Ratt, Puffee, and Booga--are tiny creatures with humongous appetites. Players must use their mushroom catapult to feed the critters with their favorite foods: glowing orbs. Each different critter creates its own type of gravitational field, the rules of which must be taken into account while you're trying to launch glowing snacks into their pie-holes.
Hungribles is headed to iPhone and iPad "this summer." Here's a first look at gameplay:
Chatty: Diablo III, Dragon's Dogma
FileShack: Unity of Command, Skyjacker
Daily Filter: Planetside 2, Deadlight
Weekend PC digital deals: strategy-o-rama
38 Studios, Harry Potter Kinect - Shacknews Daily: May 25, 2012
