Battlefield 3 demoed on PS3
by Andrew Yoon, Jun 17, 2011 8:15am PDTDICE Executive producer Patrick Bach previously said that the Battlefield 3 team is "focusing on PC first, and then we fiddle with it to fit it onto consoles." Well, now we can see what the fiddling looks like.
As part of Video Game Week on NBC's Late Night program, Jimmy Fallon debuted the first-ever footage of Battlefield 3 running on a console. Played on a PS3, the console version appears to maintain much of the look of the lead version. It looks terrific for years-old hardware, and will certainly be more than "good enough" visually when it releases. But let's not forget that DICE's Karl Magnus Troedsson told us that "now it's time to give some extra love to the PC community."
Note: Video playback is restricted to America.
