Team Fortress 2 Saxxy Award winners announced
by Alice O'Connor, Jun 09, 2011 2:40pm PDTAmidst all the E3 hubbub, the winners of the year's most prestigious awards show were announced yesterday--the Team Fortress 2 Saxxy Awards. The Saxxies were created to the launch of its video editing tools, encouraging players to make their own home movies for a wide variety of award categories.
Valve did indeed make good on its promise of giving winners "a foot-high bust of an almost entirely naked Australian man," awarding them their very own Saxxy. An in-game weapon usable by all classes, the Saxxy possess a terrible power to turn all those it strikes down into solid gold--much like the Golden Wrench.
