We're treated to a splendid tour of BioShock Infinite's setting in the E3 trailer, as former Pinkerton protagonist Booker Dewitt swings through the sky-city Columbia on its sky-line rail transport, dispatching ruffians as he goes. There's a young lady relying on him to rescue her, you see.

BioShock Infinite is headed to PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in 2012, developed by Irrational Games and published by 2K Games. Check out our early E3 preview for Infinite fun.

I think this looks awesome. Played Bioshock 1 and loved it. Skipped 2.

I don't know why more games don't go with a style like this-- bright colors.

Especially beeing able to shoot your weapon and using plasmids at the same time xD.
        It's really a lot of fun :).

Yes you should. I found Bioshock 2 to be more fun than the original. And the final boss fight and ending was great (unlike the first).

I played halfway though Bioshock 2 and then uninstalled it. This game looks... more interesting I guess, but that incredibly low console FOV bothers me more and more these days. Maybe once there's a confirmed FOV fix on the PC I'll consider it but no way am I preordering it.

Don't make the mistake of comparing BioShock 1 and BioShock 2.

the word is that levine and co (2k boston/irrational) didnt give a shit about bioshock 2 and weren't involved in any way. to them they did with bioshock what they wanted and were done with it. but 2k insisted on doing a sequel in rapture. then they did the usual dance of is levine involved or not and does it matter ?(he was not and it did matter).

you have to hand it to 2k though that they gave levine some leeway to make bioshock infinite. its a weird new setting.
