Tom Clancy franchise Kinect support announced
by Alice O'Connor, Jun 06, 2011 10:08am PDTUbisoft announced during Microsoft's press conference that all future titles in its Tom Clancy franchises will "leverage" Kinect on Xbox 360. This was demonstrated live on stage with the 'Gunsmith' weapon customisation feature of Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Future Soldier.
Weapon customisation in Future Soldier can be controlled entirely through Kinect voice recognition or gestures, including a very swish and fancy gesture that sees the gun dissemble into its component parts by simply pulling your hands apart.
You'll also be able to tell your gun to "optimise for close combat" or "randomise" to have it switch to the correct configuration.
Kinect gameplay controls were also demonstrated on a Gunsmith testing shooting range, including aiming, reloading and zooming.
Kinect for Xbox One coming to PC
Xbox One does not provide any built-in DVR capabilities
Xbox One increases friends lists to 1,000
