Metro: Last Light 'gameplay' trailer released

THQ and 4A Games have released a trailer featuring pieces of gameplay from Metro: Last Light, which includes content shown off during our preview presentation for the game earlier this week.

If our preview of Metro: Last Light left you wanting more, today THQ has released a gameplay trailer featuring pieces of the content shown off during an E3 2011's "Judge's Week" presentation.

Metro: Last Light is launching in 2012 from developer 4A Games and is slated to hit the PC, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3.

          This game isn't coming out until 2012. Skyrim is coming out this year.

      So keen for this, hope the don't change things too much. The gunplay could be a little tighter, and the engine could do with sine significant speed improvements, but otherwise it's really solid. Cant wait.

      It certainly looks like the definitive survival horror corridor shooter. A little dark for my tastes, but it seems they will succeed in achieving that uber-creepy haunted house vibe, with shit popping out of the shadows to get you.

      Also, nice choice of music for that trailer.

      I'm wanting this as hard as I can want anything right now. The first one is stil one of my favorite games and this one looks to have taken all the right themes from it.

      This looks so much more badass and dynamic than the first one. I just hope they capture the magic of exploration the first one had, and not just make it a marathon of battle arenas.
