i saw a video of the the pc leak running and i'm not sure if it was the video was cropped or the game had a fov of 50. i'm kinda concerned now. combat looked kinda shitty as well (mass effect shitty). the visuals and textures were dated, and the first 20 minutes were on rails. literally like the narrative parts of mafia 2.
i would link to it but i think it was taken down already.-
-
ok so the person playing might just have been too retarded to grasp the concept of the mechanic. what about the fov? can you do 5:4 4:3 (dunno what he was running) without going insane? i get really pissy about that. i even changed the original deus ex back then. it looked really low in the video. like 55-60 or something.

Brink is one of the worst games I've ever played. I thought I'd give the game a chance since it seemed to do
everything right : Nice colorful settings, no vehicles, no killstreaks, no one shot kills or melee. Awesome right? No it was not, it sucked donkey nuts. And the graphics look terrible and muddy like vaseline smeared all over the place.

jbury, I really don't give a fuck if you worked on the game or not. You have to learn to take criticism (or ignore it) if you're a developer. You need to take the high road, I don't - I think the game is a clusterfuck.
I don't think you are, nor do I dislike you - you're welcome to hate on me, sorry we disagree but I got fucked out of some coin, simple as that.
I'm trying to help the community by promoting good games like Portal and Crysis 1. Sorry you keep taking this personally.-
abrasion it has nothing to do with whether I worked on something or not. Do a search on your post history, you dont fucking shut up - just give it a rest!
Its nothing personal, if I had to keep reading the same shit from you about a different game over and over then I'd just be just as pissed off. We know your criticism, we dont need it jammed down our throats every day. You care about this way too much-
You've never cared about me complaining before, jbury - this is just specific to me complaining about the game you worked on.
I certainly don't post about it every day, I barely post anymore, so please try harder.
I complain about things which suck, the game was a giant dissapointment and I need people to know how bad it is so they don't make the same mistake. Don't take it personal, I have absolotuely no doubt it's not specifically your fault, infact you probably had little to do with it.
Regardless, it sucks and people need to be told, that's why people like me exist.
You're certainly encouraging me to post about it more by telling me I don't fucking shut up though, I think it's time for a new barrage of tweets about how bad it is.

Crossfire 6950's. It's worked in various stages since release.... using the 1.0 exe (so can't play online), using radeon pro to force a crossfire profile (which doesn't scale great), and using an autoexec.cfg to disable certain effects, but it's never once worked vanilla like it should. It seems to have a lower framerate with Crossfire enabled than with it disabled and the shadows/lighting flicker horribly. AMD says it's Crytek who needs to fix it, but who knows. Fuck, the DNF demo worked fine with crossfire...
