"Wow, you've been busy!" the Bethesda Blog exclaimed today, revealing the official site for the Splash Damage-developed shooter, Brink, has been updated to include stat tracking. According to the blog, more than "a million matches" have been completed, over "10 billion XP points" have been earned, and "more than 80 years" of playtime have been recorded since the game launched on the PC, Xbox 360, and PS3 on May 10.

Beginning today players will be able to track their personal progress "and much more" on a new website dedicated to Brink stats. BrinkTheGame.com now features "in-depth player states, match summaries, and "Battle for the Ark" meta-game details.

The stats are currently only available for console players. Information on PC stat tracking is apparently "coming soon."

Bethesda also teases more features for the site, including an update "planned for this summer" that will "help with setting up tournaments and clan recruitment."

Brink has had a rough time going since it first launched. After a number of patches, a community appears to be growing. For our impressions, make sure to check out the Shacknews review for Brink.

This really isn't a bad game. It needed another couple of months but it has a lot of potential

I'm very curious about your points, but I can't deduce them from your post- explain?

Gib the bodies. They aren't dead until you gib them.
Also, I'm not fully convinced the flash bangs work properly. I flash myself more than I seem to flash the enemies.
I'm not saying the maps don't need balancing, but I think the *classes* are fairly balanced and it's easy to level up which is great. Just need some spawn timer tweaks and hack time/unhack time tweaks for the maps imo. The last part of resort is really hard though (hack section). I know when the map is won, the teams are probably unbalanced.

It's more the maps than the players, medics aren't overpowered IMO.

Agreed, once I get moved in to my new place, I'm getting this for the 360 along side the PC. Doesn't get the credit it deserves for team play and fun.

I love Brink, but get it for PC and not for the 360, it just sucks on it..

Please don't support FPS on consoles, mmkay?

Some of us can't afford to keep up with PC hardware, so choose to play shooters on a console.. Your statement is just ignorant.

While his tone was off, yours assumes Wolfanoz doesn't have a capable gaming PC. People need to stop freaking out about this kind of stuff though.

I don't have a PC capable of gaming and I cannot justify spending the required amount to on one just to get games to run properly. I used to (battlefield 1942 days) but it's an expensive hobby and one I can't really afford. Also, you're right, people need to stop crying about PC vs Console. It's actually boring
