Gears of War 3 trailer teases a war-filled campaign
by Xav de Matos, May 30, 2011 12:30pm PDTOver the weekend, Microsoft released the first full trailer for the Gears of War 3 campaign. The trailer features a few short glimpses at the war players will be able to partake in when the game launches worldwide on September 20.
Following the events of Gears of War 2 where a COG-authorized mission to sink the city of Jacinto using a Lightmass Bomb, Gears of War 3 will give players an opportunity to fight for the survival of the remaining human race. Now, Marcus Fenix and Co. have to square off against the vicious Locust horde and much more powerful Lambent-infected baddies.
The full trailer is much better than the ten second teaser Microsoft offered two weeks ago and gets extra points for its use of "War Pigs" by Black Sabbath.
