The video game release list of 5/30-6/5

Next week is relatively quiet for new releases, but we will see inXile's fantasy bloodbath Hunted: The Demon's Forge and portable fighter BlazBlue: Continuum Shift 2. Then there's whatever the heck The Rockin' Dead is.

Next week is relatively quiet release-wise, no doubt due in part to all the attention-grabbing hype surrounding E3, but there's still a few things of interest. inXile's Bethesda-published fantasy bloodbath Hunted: The Demon's Forge arrives, as does handheld fighting game BlazBlue: Continuum Shift II, and the long-awaited PC edition of BioShock 2's splendid single-player DLC Minerva's Den. Personally, I'm extremely curious to see what on Earth The Rockin' Dead is.

Here's the list of next week's releases:

PC

Xbox 360

PlayStation 3

Wii

Nintendo 3DS

PSP

Nintendo DS

I've heard virtually nothing about it and I have a t-shirt of it from QuakeCon last year.

If Hunted were actually good I'm sure Bethesda would be spending the kind of marketing money they use for their other games. As it stands, heard nothing from them about it.

Don't they usually market especially games that aren't good but promising, so people will buy them based on marketing promises?

I'm guessing it won't be anything near those two in terms of quality, based on the complete lack of marketing. Definitely a rental for me.

Looks a little like Enclave to me. (which was a lot of fun actually, pure action with sprinklings of RPG)

Definitely looking forward to Continuum Shift II. A chance to practice my Hazama combos on the go? Hell yes.

The Rockin' Dead sounds fascinating -

      Description & Game Features

Jamming from the crypt, it’s the very best the afterlife has to offer in Rock’n Roll!

In The Rockin' Dead, the player takes on the role of Alyssa, member of the pretty to look at but unsuccessful metal band "Deadly Lullabyes". Following an anonymous invitation to a concert, they have an accident on the bumpy terrain just before they reach their destination. When Alyssa comes round, all the equipment of the band is missing – as well as the rest of the band. The following events span a spaced adventure in utter "B Movie" style: Rocking skeletons, wobbly Elvises and numerous undead put Alyssa through various challenges. An extremely bizarre setting which somehow reminds Alyssa of one of her songs...

Immerse yourself in a challenging adventure that will lead ever deeper into a universe of undead beings, rocking skeletons and a host of other bizarre creatures!
