The video game release list of 5/30-6/5
by Alice O'Connor, May 28, 2011 11:00am PDTNext week is relatively quiet release-wise, no doubt due in part to all the attention-grabbing hype surrounding E3, but there's still a few things of interest. inXile's Bethesda-published fantasy bloodbath Hunted: The Demon's Forge arrives, as does handheld fighting game BlazBlue: Continuum Shift II, and the long-awaited PC edition of BioShock 2's splendid single-player DLC Minerva's Den. Personally, I'm extremely curious to see what on Earth The Rockin' Dead is.
Here's the list of next week's releases:
PC
- BioShock 2 - Minerva's Den (downloadable content - $10)
- Call of Duty: Black Ops - Escalation Pack (downloadable content - $14.99)
- Curse of Slate Rock Manor (digital download - $19.99)
- Cities in Motion: Tokyo (downloadable expansion - $9.99)
- Hamilton's Great Adventure (digital download)
- Hunted: The Demon's Forge
- The Rockin' Dead
- The Sims 3 Generations (expansion)
Xbox 360
PlayStation 3
Wii
- Fast: Racing League (WiiWare download - $10)
Nintendo 3DS
PSP
Nintendo DS
- B Team - Episode 1: Dust & Steel (DSiWare download - $8)
- House M.D. - Episode 1: Globetrotting (DSiWare download - $8)
- Valet Parking 1989 (DSiWare download - $5)
Kinect for Xbox One coming to PC
Xbox One does not provide any built-in DVR capabilities
Xbox One increases friends lists to 1,000
Xbox One achievements dynamic, not limited to single games

Next week is relatively quiet for new releases, but we will see inXile's fantasy bloodbath Hunted: The Demon's Forge and portable fighter BlazBlue: Continuum Shift 2. Then there's whatever the heck The Rockin' Dead is.
